The federal legislation in this area has required the real estate industry to take a fresh look at many past practices, and has given rise to a number of questions with respect to statutory compliance.  We provide general advice with respect to the requirements of the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1989, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and local fair housing laws, as well as in connection with actual disputes that may arise.
